About Me

I am Sarker Monojit Asish, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science in Florida Polytechnic University. I completed my Ph.D. and M.Sc degrees in Computer Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. My research interests lie at the intersection of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) with a strong focus on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). I am particularly interested in exploring how immersive technologies can enhance user experience and interaction within both virtual and augmented environments. My work also extends to the application of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) techniques to optimize and personalize these interactions, making them more intuitive, efficient, and adaptive to individual users.
